Cairns Vet Clinic is treating a young (8-12 weeks) kitten which was found by the side of the road in Mooroobool. We suspect she may have strayed from its home and been hit by a car or even been tossed from a vehicle. She was wearing a hair-tie with a bell on it. She was very weak and we thought she could die, and she has since improved and now is able to walk. She did not have a microchip or a name tag (These are essential and Cairns pets are now required to be microchipped by law)
