Vets warn on tick antivenom shortage

Vets down south continue to see huge tick numbers and face a paralysis tick season where they may run out of antivenom.  Our tick season is (hopefully) nearing its end and Cairns Vet Clinic has stocked up to ensure we have enough antivenom to protect your pets.  Tick paralysis are a common cause of disease and death in Cairns Pets, especially from June to December.  The Cairns tick season has been milder than normal, likely due to the high rainfall levels during our "dry season"
